• Studied economic history at Hunter College (NYC) and Stockholm/Lund Universities; earned BA in Economic History, 1988.
• Graduated as Producer from the National Film School of Denmark (1993).

• Over 35 years of experience in animation, feature films, documentaries, and TV.

  • Animated short "HUSH (Schhh)"(2006), "AWFULLY EMBARRASSING (Røde Ører)"(2005), and series “DADDY (Palles Far)”(2004).

• Established performer/songwriter since the late 1970s; lead singer of bands like SMISK (Stockholm), FANTASTIC LIFE and THE K‑CLUB (NYC venues including CBGB’s).

• Based in Copenhagen: founded THE OLOF PALME GROUP and NO DADDY NO in the 1990s; active in folk-jazz poetry scene (2013–18).

• Solo artist as FRED VOGEL since 2003.

• Fluent in Swedish, English, Danish; performs music in all three languages.
